With student leadership programs being a necessary element of incubating the next generation of political, business, and community leaders, Collective Responsibility has begun to build and rollout a platform is meant to engage academic institutions on all levels, and in ways that can effectively target and capture over the long term the capacity and needs of the institutions, faculty, the administrators and students.

That, as we need to look beyond the traditional training, regulations, and incentives that motivate today’s leaders to to encourage leaders to make decisions that are not aligned with their core business or personal value propositions.  Collective Responsibility believes that these changes must be nurtured in future leaders by academic institutions.

There has probably never been a more important time for academic institutions to develop tomorrow's future responsible leaders, against a background which is testing the sustainability of both global economies and local environments. This will be a major change for many schools, if they are to make the transition from offering the traditional MBA to one that incorporates social responsibility is a process.  There may be some resistance to change from internal stakeholders.

In developing the platform below, Collective Responsibility has researched programs at 20 of China’s top universities, and conducted interviews with professors and administrators inside and beyond China.  We have also drawn on our experience with existing student awareness workshops.

This leadership development program is built with the idea that the individual elements can be implemented independently, and each has a positive impact.  But our overall goal is to help schools develop an entire portfolio of classes and clubs on campus, while administrators and professors engage in workshops and conferences off-campus.
